Your safety matters to us

Our Luge instructors will give you a full briefing on how to Luge before your first ride. It’s simple to use, just pull back on the handlebars to slow down or stop and release the handlebars slightly to accelerate.

Important Information

Luging involves sudden accelerating and braking through downhill bends, tunnels and dips. To ride you must be in good physical health and a sound mental state.

If you suspect that riding could aggravate a pre-existing condition or put your health at risk for any reason, do not ride without first consulting a medical professional.

Please also be aware of the Chairlift safety guidelines demonstrated in our Chairlift Code of Conduct on-site.

Unfortunately, pregnant mothers are not allowed to ride.

Luge Code of Conduct

Please respect all posted signs and warnings and follow staff instructions at all times.

You must be at least 110 cm (3 ft, 7 in) tall and a minimum of 6 years old to ride the luge alone.

Luge use is prohibited if your abilities or judgment are affected by alcohol or drugs.

Long hair, loose clothing, backpacks and personal items must be securely fastened to avoid damage or loss. Please be aware there are no lockers on site and items must be kept with you at all times.

Wearing a helmet is mandatory at all times on the luge tracks.

Keep both hands on the handlebar at all times while riding to ensure ease of steering and braking.

Do not put your feet outside of the cart foot-well, unless completely stopped, as injury may result. Footwear must be worn at all times. Use the brakes to slow or stop the cart!

To slow yourself or stop the cart pull the handlebars back toward you. Do not stop by pushing handlebars forward.

Remain in control of your speed and direction. Make sure you can stop and avoid any person or obstacle, as it is the Luge riders responsibility to keep their Luge cart under control. Stay alert in case a quick reaction is needed to avoid a collision.

Racing in groups is not permitted. Do not bump into other carts. Do not skid the Luge cart wheels.
